Madrid, October 1, 2026.– DuckDik, a Spanish wellness technology company, has been selling DuckDik Sense since July 2026 — a screen-free, subscription-free health wristband whose app, DuckDik Health, works entirely in Spanish, Catalan, Valencian, Galician and Basque, both in its menus and in conversations with its AI coach.
This means each user can check, in their own language, how they slept, their energy level, or how stress is affecting them, and receive concrete recommendations for that same day. The language can be changed from the app's profile in seconds, and from that point on the user can talk with the coach in the language of their choice.
"A person doesn't understand a health recommendation the same way in a second language as they do in their own. If what we're selling is understanding, translating only the buttons is pointless."
A wristband built for everyday life
DuckDik designs its own wristband, manufactured by an industrial partner to its specifications. DuckDik Sense is designed for the general public: people who want to take care of themselves day to day without needing to be athletes. Among the things users highlight most are its battery life of up to 45 days, how lightweight it is — "you barely notice it" — and a simple app that interprets the data for them, with no fees.
Because it has no screen, the wristband doesn't demand the user's attention with alerts or constant numbers, can be worn day and night, and goes unnoticed — to the point that many users pair it with their regular watch. Users check the information whenever they want, in the app, along with an explanation of what it means.
Growing by listening
Since the Sense launch in July 2026, DuckDik has been adding roughly a thousand new users a month across five European countries. The company has opted for prudent growth, focused on talking with its customers and improving the product before accelerating. Its software, algorithms and support are developed in Spain, and its users' data is hosted on servers within the European Union.
"We want someone from Bilbao, Vigo or Girona to feel the app was made for them. It's a form of respect, and also a way of competing: where the big platforms don't reach, we do."
Availability and price
DuckDik Sense is available at duckdik.com and on Amazon for €89, with no subscription. The DuckDik Health app is included at no extra cost and is available in ten languages: Spanish, Catalan, Valencian, Galician, Basque, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
DuckDik Sense is a wellness product, not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.
